This orthosis is designed for the treatment of severe strains and sprains of the wrist or early cast removal for fractures. Its cast-like rigidity provides ideal immobilization without the discomfort associated with traditional casts. A foam tongue insert ensures comfort and additional padding for the styloid process. Each brace comes complete with a double thickness cotton stockinette.

Static lower arm brace especially effective for pediatric (ages 5-9) Torus fractures and for adolescents (ages 9-12) post-cast usage. Slight dorsiflexion at wrist works very well for distal fractures. Helps prevent injury from reoccurring, eliminates discomfort from accidental bumps. Easily removed for fracture site examination and sock changes. Special safety closure system available to inhibit children from removing the orthosis. Lined and perforated for comfort.
